The artist painting in her East Hampton studio

Sally Stryker has lived a life in the arts. An accomplished modern dancer, classical singer, actress and sailor, she was a scholarship student at Alvin Ailey’s in New York, taught modern dance to senior citizens and high school students at the Harlem School of the Arts, toured the US with Richard Harris in Camelot, starred Off Broadway as Angela, the muse of a Post Modern Lenny Da Vinci with the New York Shakespeare Festival and has sailed the world’s longest freshwater race from Chicago to Macinaw three times. After producing original theater shows in Atlanta and creating a computer graphics training company in Chicago, she started exhibiting her artwork in 2001 and now travels between her studios in East Hampton and the French West Indies.
